We are currently looking for shift leaders and production technicians for our facility in Mantorp.
We’ve stocked up on raw materials and are ready to start an extra shift—but we’re missing someone who knows how to keep a production line running smoothly.
We prepare our recipes with meat, poultry, and vegetarian ingredients in batches of a few hundred kilos. We shape, fry, or deep-fry products like burgers, meatballs, nuggets, and schnitzel. Afterward, we freeze and package them. Our customers are restaurants and large-scale kitchens all over Sweden.
We’re growing fast and need more people right away. So if you’re not looking yourself, please tip someone in your network.
The ideal candidate should preferably have experience from production in preparing composite minced meat products, and have worked with machines such as sausage cutters, meat grinders, mixers, formers, and stamping equipment. Experience with frying and deep-frying, as well as packaging, is also required. Having a forklift license is a plus, but in reality any chef who has worked in larger kitchens (1,000 portions and up) can learn the machines and workflows if they have technical interest and a can-do attitude. We are currently working in two shifts, but will soon move to three shifts.
The factory is located in Mantorp close to the train station, and we can help arrange accommodation nearby.
We are a small team, so we need someone mature and confident who can work independently and seek out any information they might be missing. We have a collective agreement with Livs and are FSSC-22000 certified, so you need to be well-versed in HACCP, food hygiene, and safety. Applicants should have basic computer skills and be able to follow recipes to the letter.

The Den Svenska Matfabriken brand has been supplying the Swedish meal market since 2017 with classics like meatballs and pan-fried burgers, cooked in smaller batches to deliver the same quality as homemade meals.
The factory operates a frying and deep-frying line where we go from preparation, through forming/stamping, to frying or deep-frying, then heat up the products to 72°C in the oven, and freeze them. After that, products are packaged in cartons or SRS crates. We work with meat, poultry, vegetarian, and hybrid products—and produce, among other things, meatballs, pan-fried burgers, burgers, järpar, nuggets, and vegetarian mince.

On March 31, 2025, Den Smartare Matfabriken i Mantorp AB took over the staff, customers, and the Den Svenska Matfabriken brand.
